The Kennedy Meadows Community Volunteer First-Aid Team is a group of community volunteers, trained and certified in First-Aid/CPR/AED. We serve Kennedy Meadows, Inyokern, CA and surrounding areas.

Kennedy Meadows is as remote as it is breathtaking. Ambulances and other support services are many miles away and can take hours to arrive. The Kennedy Meadows volunteers are critical for fast response and effective communication with local Search & Rescue. This service is critical to the community and its visitors. Kennedy Meadows Community Volunteer First Aid Team is a nonprofit public benefit organization recognized as tax exempt under Section 501c3 of the Internal Revenue Code. We are based in the community of Kennedy Meadows in Inyokern, California. Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

A receipt will be provided for every contribution.

3% Cover the Fee

In case of emergency always contact 9-1-1. Emergency call boxes are available along Kennedy Meadow/Sherman Pass Rd.

Kennedy Meadows is an off-grid community, there is no cell service or available electricity. Call boxes are not available beyond the South Fork Kern River. 911 dispach will contact the First-Aid Team to assist you while medical services arive. Always come prepared and consider bringing an SOS Beacon.
